The best easter outfits you’ve seen in at least in two years

Easter 2021.

Get your Easter basket, bonnet, chocolate bunny, Honey Baked Ham, and jelly beans ready, ‘cause it’s happening this year. Whoop!

It’s the first time I’ll be getting dressed up to actually leave my house in a very long time.

Do you celebrate this holiday? Are you as excited as I am about it?

Hopefully, you are, with the only hesitation about celebrating being that you simply can NOT rock your quarantine sweatsuit to see your favorite aunt for the first time in a year. Time to step it up.

What to wear? It’s always the question.

Lucky for you, I have some ideas to share.

If you know me, you know I LOVE a good dress. It’s a 30-second outfit, add earrings, shoes, and you’re out the door. There are so many fun, different spring-like dresses out there, so pick one that suits your fancy and throw it on.

Not a fan of dresses? I cannot claim to understand you, but I can help you find options. Festive ones that the Easter Bunny would be very proud of.

Take a look and see if anything inspires you. Click on the photo for additional details on the clothing.

Pink, floral, and billowy. This dress is beautiful in person. You could pull any color from the pattern for your accessories. I chose to go neutral so that the dress is the statement piece.

Nothing says Easter like a brocade print, in aqua! This set is adorable with gold buttons down the back of the top. Dress this up or down with the shoes and earrings. This is a versatile set that can be worn separately through the summer season.

You know I had to put something green in here. This is lovely paired with neutral accessories, but a pretty pink shoe and earring would work as well.

The bold tulip pattern is so fun and the black is an unusual twist on the flower. The black accessories put an exclamation point on this unique Easter dress.

It’s likely been a while since you’ve worn spring clothes out of the house, so please shop in your closet first. I’m sure you have some gems in there that haven’t seen the light of day for the better part of a year now. Use the ideas here as templates for your Easter outfit. They are cut and paste, by design.

Bold pattern (dress, pants or top), pick out a color for accessories and you’re done.

I’m a big believer that you do not need something new to look good, you simply need to understand how to wear the clothes you have. But if you do decide to purchase something and are working on your capsule, remember to work within your color palette. Items like an Easter outfit can also fall outside of your capsule in a similar category to formal wear, interview suits, and vacation wear.

I hope the Easter Bunny brings you something really special this year, you deserve it.

Please share this with a friend who could use some style love.
