Looking for a cute 4th of July outfit? Look no further, this post has great ideas for you no matter how you plan to celebrate the holiday this year.

This is it! The big get-together of the season, the official kick-off of all that is fun and summer-like—4th of July!!
In my family this was not only a national holiday to honor our country’s independence, it was my father’s birthday. He was sure that all the hoopla, parades, BBQs, and fireworks were for him on his special day. He loved his birthday and so this holiday took on a life of its own at our house.
The question always was and still is, what to wear? It’s a fine line between looking festive and resembling an American flag. You want to stay cool, and of course, you want to be comfortable.
Lucky for you, I’ve pulled together some cute 4th of July outfits. You can shop the links for each of these items or use these outfits as inspiration for something you already have in your closet and create your own holiday look.

Try something different this holiday and rock a festive jumpsuit. I always say I love a good jumpsuit, until I have to go to the bathroom. The complete undressing is tiresome, but this adorable one is from LemLem might be worth the effort. The porcelain earrings with blue flowers are from my new favorite jewelry designer Nicola Bathie. The shoes are a basic white clog that would work with tons of things in your summer wardrobe.

A dress is such an easy 4th of July outfit. All you have to do is add accessories to complete the look. The accessories shown here are interchangeable with each dress. The blue striped dress, paired with red lucite earrings, white sandals, and a straw bag is such a summery look. This smocked dress is right on trend, and so comfortable to wear. You could pull any color from this dress to use for accessories. I’m going with red beaded earrings with this dress for the 4th of July. The blue gingham dress is just darling. The heart bag adds texture and color giving you that red, white, and blue combo that makes the quintessential 4th of July outfit.

Shorts are a classic for any 4th of July occasion and so easy to wear over and over again throughout the summer. This red eyelet top is a cute option for your 4th of July outfit and summer in general. The white linen shorts are a great basic (also an excellent part of your summer capsule), I would wear the gold double hoops on repeat, and how fun are these fancy flip flops in denim?? They come in other colors as well, be sure to check them out.
I hope your party, BBQ, fill-in-the-blank event is fun and that your 4th of July outfit is the best one yet! Let me know in the comments, what you are doing to celebrate and what are you wearing. I’d love to know.
